The best costume I’ve ever worn…well I just think they get better as the years go by. I guess my favourites were last year’s and the year before’s. Last year I was Hermione from Harry Potter, and I was really excited because the costume looked so cool and my hair puffed up so it looked like hers!! Well, it looked good except for the rubber boots. :). The year before I was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, and I was really excited about that one, because my mom made me a great dress and I had really cool ruby slippers! At that point I was obsessed with The Wizard of Oz!
Sounds like you’ve had really cool costumes, Tardis. What about this year? What were the ruby slippers? Your mom even made you a dress?!? Wow, you must have a super amazing mom!
Yeah, my mom’s good at making altering stuff so it looks really cool! She didn’t really make the dress, but she bought one and cut off the sleeves and stuff, and she had to do lots of stuff to fix it up. The ruby slippers we just bought at a store. This year I’m going as Clara from Doctor Who and my mom bought a second hand dress and she’s going to fix it so it looks like hers!
I was going to ask you about Doctor Who!!! Now I wish I asked before you mentioned it. So you’re going as Clara? It’s nice your mom always helps you with your costumes. What is she going to do to make it look like Clara’s? Is it already a burgundy colour?
It’s the red one she wears, my mom bought a red dress that has white flowers on it. She’s going to curve in the waist and add a black collar.

The best costume I’ve seen so far was my friend’s costume. She wore a popcorn box costume, and she actually had popcorn pieces glued to the costume. It was really cool! The really special thing about it though, is that it was homemade.
I love this idea. I bet that looked really neat! Were there popcorn pieces all over the box or just a few pieces?
One year, I went as a gumball machine. I wore this huge plastic bag which was filled with balloons.
I’d love to see a picture of this, Katie. And could people tell what it was. I think it’s a really good idea!
I loved wearing my Disco Dancer outfit because I looked sooooo cute!!
