Rainy Day Activities

Hi readers,

It’s a bit dreary here in Toronto with all of the rain. If it’s rainy where you are too, try these fun ideas to brighten up your day.

Have a movie marathon! Pick a few of your favourite movies, then snuggle up with some popcorn and enjoy.
Make a fort. Ask an adult to help you drape sheets over furniture to make a cozy hang out.
Put on your galoshes! Go outside and have a bit of a splash in the puddles.
Say “Hi”. Write a letter to a relative or friend who lives far away on a piece of paper or card. Ask a parent if they can mail it for you!
Pull out a favourite book or two. Ask an adult to read with you. When you’re finished, try writing your own story!

After trying these activities, you may be wishing for more rainy days to come your way!
