RAotW #14
Hey! And… we’re… back. Just when you thought you were going to have to wait another month for the next edition of Reader Art of the Week… boom! A new edition in less than a week.
This week we’re featuring poetry — an original limerick, actually! — from OWL reader Josiah Thompson. Check it out:
Baby Bob
There once was a baby called Bob
Who ate tons of corn on the cob.
He at it all day,
Until he blew away,
And left his poor mommy to sob.
Cool, huh? If you’ve ever tried to write a limerick, you know it’s a lot harder than it looks. I think Josiah did a great job of following the strict rules of the rhyme scheme while having a lot of fun with the content. Nice one!
Many thanks to Josiah for sending in his poetry. If anyone else out there would like to be featured in RAotW next week, just drop me a line at the email address below.
Over and out!

Corn on the cob, yay! °â¢Â°,
Ohayo, owl-ers!…ish!…people! Anyway, haven`t been on the blog for a while, eheh…catching up on my manga…030. Um, Craig? Do you read manga? I forget if I`ve ever asked you that or not. Anyhoo…um…MY BIRTHDAY WAS ON THURSDAY! YAY FOR ELEVEN-NESS! Anyway, gotta get to school! Sayonaraaa!!!
Hey Mara, you just have to design what you think the official match ball for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil should look like. You can use Brazil as inspiration, just like the 2010 match ball uses South Africa, but go ahead and be creative!
Thanks I`m glad you like my poem
my b-day was on the 25 of may!!!
Holy Gwarsh! My birthday is 2 days after yours, Josiah! That’s cool! How old did u turn?
