RAotW #23
Think there’s nothing new under the Reader Art of the Week Sun? Think again! This week we’re featuring not one but TWO types of art, and both come to us courtesy of blog reader Marissa.
First, we’ve got a painting made entirely of plasticine. Second, we’ve got poetry. Check ’em out:
Refreshing! And now:
Ocean
Ocean
Cool, wonderful
Swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing
Fun, awesome
Sea
Neat, huh? I love how the two pieces relate to one another and work together. In the art world, they call this multimedia. And it looks like Marissa has a great grasp of the concept already!
It was also nice to get a reminder about the ocean and warm weather, etc. Even though we’re just a few days from the start of autumn, summer will be back before we know it. (I hope!)
Many thanks to Marissa for sending in her artwork. If you have something you’d like me to post for all to see — be it a story, poem, drawing, photo, or mixture of two or more! — please drop me a line at the address below.
Talk to you soon.
