RAotW #3
Did I say I was going to post a bunch of movie reviews early this week? Yes! I did. However, I spent most of the weekend indoors with a cold, and had no time to check out all the movies I wanted.
Luckily, though, blog reader Katie sent me a drawing for Reader Art of the Week! (To all those keeping score, that’s three weeks of Reader Art in a row!)

Cool, huh? I’m sure many of you will recognize this fierce-looking feline as Graystripe from the Warriors graphic novel series. I think Katie did a great job of capturing his demeanor — proud, defiant, and wise. Nice one, Katie!
Also, a note for all you Warriors fans out there: make sure to check out the November edition of “What’s Hot” in OWL. I know it’s a long way away, but in it will be a preview of The Fourth Apprentice, the first book in the new Warriors: Omen of the Stars series. The book comes out November 24, and it looks good.

Stringbean, at least in the previous three series, there’s also badgers, dogs, evil cats, twolegs and their monsters(aka cars)!

Craig for “Photo Fun” do you have to send it by mail or can you email the answers without the picture but you indicate who said what.
no no…. I mean in the fourth series the evil ones are beavers. I get the warriors newsletter and vicky let it slip. ( vicky, kate, and cherith are three people who go under the one name erin hunter. vicky makes the plot, and kate and cherith take turns writing the books. you can tell which person wrote the book because it says “special thanks to katecherith” )

Hey has anyone heard of that comic book “My Granparents Are Secret Agents”? It’s pretty good/funny.
I`ve never heard of that,Sydney! I`ll see if they have it at our library. I like reading manga comics, but the Princess Planet ones are my favorite online comics.

Nice drawing Katie, I am currently finishing Eldest, moving on to Brisingr in the Eragon series. IT`S SO GOOD! Most would find it quite surprising that a ten year old reads these books, but I like a challenge!
