RAotW #34
Hi! Welcome one and all to another incredible (and incredibly tardy!) edition of Reader Art of the Week.
This week’s art comes to us in the form of photography (first photo in a long while!), and it comes to us courtesy of blog reader Madeleine. Check it out:
I really like how this picture has a sense of drama: the setting is tropical, but the clouds are a little foreboding, you know?
It tells a bit of a story, too: my eyes immediately went to the lone person on the left-hand side of the shot. What’s he up to? Is he a golfer? Groundskeeper? Time traveler?! We may never know, but it sure is fun to guess!
Many thanks to Madeleine for heeding the RAotW call and sending in her photo. If YOU want to be like Madeleine (be like Madeleine! It’s cool!), send me YOUR photos, poems, stories, or drawings at owlblog@owlkids.com.
Talk to you soon, bloggers.
Craig, owblog@owlkids.com
I’m Madeleine’s best friend, and i go to school with her!
Hi Everyone!
Thank you to Hannah for creating that website; it inspired me and my friends to create one for this book we’re writing! (It’s still under construction)

PS: Craig, we’re thinking about creating a blog for it; any ideas?
Hi Nicole. Hmm. You could try writing short reviews of books you like. That way, maybe people interested in similar things looking for a good recommendation will come across your story! Hope that helps.
It does…………….. Thanks! 🙂
Are you talking to me, Nicole??? And really nice pic Madeleine!!!
Yeah- Sorry, forgot to put the 10 at the end 🙂
are you really 16 nicole
No, I’m 11:)
Awesome!!!
Marissa 😛
Hey Marissa,
Club ChickaDEE needs you for a new “would you rather” game and we want MORE comments. Yasmin, me, and Mandy is trying to beat our record! Goes for everyone else!
Thanks!
Good call, Oscar. If you guys want to get in on the game of “Would You Rather” over at the chickaDEE blog, click here.
nice photo
Thanks! I took it at the beach near my hotel when I went to Kawai for spring break last year. And I don’t know who the person in the left corner is.
that remines me when I was in ARGENTINA
Craig… Can you post things about Club Penguin as you do for Poptricia?
Oscar
Hey Oscar. I’m definitely behind the times on Club Penguin, but I can certainly try! Does Club Penguin do regular updates, release new levels, etc.?
Yes, they have new games, new stamps, new catalogs and much more.
Why is it called RAotW #34? Is that the file name or something?
It’s short for Reader Art of the Week, and it’s the 34th entry in the series. To see others, click here.
