RAotW #45
If you think about it, our ongoing collection of Reader Art of the Week is a lot like an every-expanding art gallery. And, if you agree that’s true, then this edition of RAotW might just blow your mind.
This week’s art comes to us courtesy of blog reader Amanda in the form of a gallery of photos (get it? A gallery within a gallery!). Check it out:
Cool, huh? I mean, where to begin? When Amanda sent me a bunch of photos for consideration, I had a lot of trouble choosing between them. So I thought, “Why not post a bunch?”
If I had to pick a favourite, I might choose the one of the yellow trees at the bottom right. I like the colour and the shadow in it — it seems like Amanda caught that spot at the absolute perfect time of year. Anyway, many thanks to Amanda for sending it, and all of her other amazing nature shots, in.

My favourite is the dew drops (bottom-left) because it shows a cool view from a place you might not normally look
I had an Alice and Wonderland moment…. The part where the flowers are singing. It look very colorful. 🙂

I was wondering if some time this summer……you can do a blog party. A blog party would be that you post a new blog every day of one week….consisting of questions…games and more!!! It would be 7 days of fun!!

Hi Marissa! I won’t be around the first part of that week because of the holiday, but the next week works for me (August 8 to 14). That work for everyone else? (Also, thanks for the ideas, Marissa AND Selena! Lots of good stuff there!)

Craig, this is kind of far fetched, but maybe we could do this thing during the blog party where you post a blog entry about something, and we could all do in our replies our own “entry” about something related to the topic, or something like that?
Also, maybe we should do a SUPER RAofW, where as many people as possible send in art, pictures, and stories, and Craig posts them all in one big post?
I’m fine with August 8th to 14th- I’m at Day Camp but I can just check when I get home. =)

Here are my ideas:
1) How about a puzzle or a word problem that all blogers have to figure out!
2) Maybe new quizzes on the blog that everyone can take!
3) Posibly you could put “Helpful Tip of the Week”. That could maybe help with
studying, reading, certain games… etc.
4) Maybe a “Do It Yourself” on every blog party!
Those are just a few of my ideas! I have much more of them coming….
