Read a puzzle book!
Hi Readers!
The long weekend is coming up fast! If you’re looking for something to do, (or just love puzzles) check out this puzzle-packed chapter book:
Pete and Penny’s Pizza Puzzles: Case of the Secret Sauce
by Aaron Rosenburg
The book’s main characters, Pete and Penny, live on top of their family’s pizza parlor. They’re excited because their parents have gone out of town and have left them, and their kooky uncle in charge of the pizza parlor! But their excitement turns into worry when their family’s top-secret pizza sauce recipe goes missing.
Now it’s up to readers (that means you!) to crack the case by solving puzzles like rebuses, secret codes and anagrams (an anagram is when you rearrange the letters of a word to make other words).
Sounds pretty fun, right?
