I’ve been so excited for Reverse Mailbag day and now it’s here! If you’re new to the OWL blog like me, you may need the lowdown on how reverse mailbags works: instead of you asking me the questions as with a normal mailbag, I’m going to ask you the questions. Then you post a comment below with your answers.

PS. This Sunday I’m heading out to the TIFF Kids International Film Festival to attend the 11th annual Jump Cuts Young Filmmakers Showcase. The Jump Cuts program encourages youth to explore their love of film and I’ll have the opportunity to see 21 short films from finalists from across Ontario. Since I’m a huge fan of filmmaking, I’m anxious to see the documentaries, comedies and experimental pieces that will be included in the Showcase. I’ll be blogging about it next week and if you would like more information on the event, check out TIFF Kids.

Are you going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? If so, you’re lucky!
Laura- I am actually going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and I’m so excited because I’ve never been there before!
1. I went to a Diversity conference yesterday. We had guest speakers and did workshops on bullying and cultural differences, and it was really fun!
2. That’s tough… probably blueberry yogurt or grapefruit juice.
3. My favourite songs right now are “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, and also “Our Song” by Taylor Swift, but if I had to listen to them for 24 hours, I would get really annoyed with them and the songs would be kind of ruined for me 😛 So I’d probably go with anything really quiet that wouldn’t get stuck in my head for a really long time afterwards.
4. I think that hedgehogs in general are cuter than guinea pigs, but in those pictures, the guinea pig is cuter. But I think I’ll go with hedgehogs this time!
5. I’d go with the fruit bowl, because it would be really awkward to carry books around or sit down with a cardboard box all around me.
*sidenote!* I dressed up as a Rubik’s Cube for Halloween when I was in Grade 6, so I actually went to school and went trick-or-treating with a cardboard box costume! It was really hard to walk around, so I ended up leaving the box in the corner during class, and I had to count the number of steps that each house had before walking down because I couldn’t see over the box 😛 It was probably one of my more awkward Halloween costumes, but it was super fun too and I got extra candy because everyone liked my costume 🙂
Laura, I absolutely loved your sidenote. That must’ve been quite the Rubik’s Cube adventure! Sounds like a very cool costume.
