1. DESCRIPTION OF CONTEST: The purpose of the Win a Free iPad Contest is to award teachers that participate in the 2020 Owlkids Back-to-School program.   
   For information on how to enter, please see #3 below.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Teachers and librarians that participate by returning their Teacher Response Forms are eligible to participate and will be automatically entered in the contest. To be eligible teachers and librarians must be employed or volunteer at recognized Canadian daycare or elementary schools on September 8, 2020. The immediate family members of employees of Bayard Presse Canada Inc., their representatives, agents and their affiliated entities, and any person with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled are not
   eligible to participate.
3. HOW TO ENTER:
   1. Teachers and librarians that participate in the Owlkids Back-to-School promotion by returning their Teacher Response Forms or register online with Owlkids, and who are Canadian residents are eligible and will be automatically entered in the contest. .
   2. Only one entry per participate. All entries must be received by November 30, 2020 at 5:00PM EST.
   3. Photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
4. WINNER SELECTION: The grand-prize winners will be selected by The Interprovincial Group, located
   at 1315 Morningside Ave, Toronto, Ontario, M1B 3C5, by random draw and notified by phone and/or mail
   by December 14, 2020. In the event that a potential winner cannot be contacted by the contest sponsors within seven (7) business days following the draw the Contest Sponsor(s) shall have the right to disqualify that potential winner and to draw an alternate potential winner from all remaining eligible entries received. An eligible contestant who is selected must correctly complete a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by telephone in order to be deemed a winner. 5. PRIZES:
   1. Three (3) grand-prize winners will be drawn from the entries and awarded to three participating teachers or librarians, one for each magazine, Chirp, Chickadee and OWL.
   2. The grand-prize consists of: (1 of 3) Apple iPads with an individual value of approximately $450.00 each. Total prize value is approximately $1350.00.
   3. In accordance with Canadian law, no charitable receipt for income tax purposes can be issued to the one grand-prize winner.
   4. All prizes will be donated by Bayard Presse Canada Inc. All prizes are non-transferable and nonrefundable. No prize substitutions or redemptions.
6. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
   1. Contest subject to all federal, provincial and local laws, and regulations. This contest is void where prohibited. Applicable taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winners
   2. Entry constitutes agreement with all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness, contest entry and information contained therein, statements, quotes, testimonials, photographs, and name of hometown for promotional purposes, including but not limited to posting of such information and reproduction and display on the Sponsor(s)’ websites, except where prohibited by law. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in the entrant’s disqualification.
   3. Sponsor(s) are not responsible for: (1) lost, stolen, illegible, torn, damaged, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; (2) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; and (3) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor(s) which may cause the contest or the awarding of prizes to be disrupted or impractical of being completed. Entry constitutes agreement to hold the Sponsor(s) and their affiliated entities, together with its or their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, harmless from and against any and all physical injury, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of this contest or acceptance or use of the prizes. The grand-prize winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use of redemption of any prize. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to suspend and/or cancel the contest should causes beyond their control interfere with the administration, security, or proper conduct of the contest.
   4. Bayard Presse Canada Inc. respects your privacy and values our relationship with you. Your
      personal information will be protected and will never be sold. From time to time, the Bayard Presse Canada Inc. or other contest sponsors may contact entrants with special offers. Aside from this purpose which is stated on the contest registration pages, the information you have provided to enter this contest will be used only for contest administration and/or audit.    5. This contest is offered only in Canada. Except as required pursuant to Quebec law, Ontario law will apply in the event of any disputes relating to or arising from the Contest and the Ontario courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes. In the case of the prize winner’s resident in the Province of Quebec, any litigation respecting the conduct or organizing of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.
   6. The collection and use of personal information of the entrants by the Sponsor(s) will be subject to the Bayard Presse Canada Inc. Canada Privacy Policy. A copy of the Bayard Presse Canada Inc.
