Snowboard Helmet Contest Winners
Hey all! It’s a week of contests on the OWL blog. I announced one on Monday, and now I’m going to post the results of another. Fitting, huh?
In the January/February issue of OWL, we challenged you to decorate a very plain snowboard helmet. We got tons of entries, and printed the winner last issue. The bad news: we didn’t have enough room to print honourable mentions. The great news: we have a blog!

I liked Ski On, Neon. Katie no I haven’t but that will be my next series and I will let you know when I do start it. I am still reading Beauty Pop, today a the library I got books 3, 4,5:) I am also ready “The Land of Elyon, they are good!
Craig when are you going to announce the winners of the poetry contest? Also during the summer like when schools out are you still going to post Blogs?…. I really hope you will!

I like the Backwards Bird, because it’s an optical illusion, and I LOVE optical illusions! Vines was really cool too.

Mara, in case you didn’t notice, there will be blog posts during summer, he has June-August on the Blog Archives, so I think it will be the same this year.
Ruff rider is my favorite.I read manga! Did anybody here watch Sailor Moon? That was my favorite! I learned my planets from that show,see?Mercury,Venus,

I like the vines because it looks cool and that that person put alot of work into it.
I like vines. It’s super awesome. I also like the ski on neon one. I like abstract things.

Okay yay blog posts! I saw the movie sailor moon but I never knew (until now) that that was a manga.
I’ve recently memorized the lyrics, too. I really like Sailor Moon, too. I took a few online quizzes, and apparently I’m most like Sailors Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury. My personal favourites are Sailors Jupiter, Mercury, and Saturn.

But I think my true loyal favourites will always be “Fruits Basket” and “Tokyo Mew Mew”…but mostly “Fruits Basket”. The anime and manga of “Fruits Basket” are really good, but the anime of “Tokyo Mew Mew” is defininatly a lot better than the manga. Also, when it was dubbed in English, they changed ALL the Characters; names(exept the Blue Knight) and called the show “Mew Mew Power”.
Also, I don’t think Sailor Chibi Moon or Mew Pudding should have ever been made members of their teams. I don’t particularly like them.

The creator of Sailor Moon thinks that Tuxedo Mask would replace a Sailor Earth. I have yet to 100% agree…
Uh, wow, you guys really like Sailor Moon. I know Sailor Moon, but I never really watched/read it. I like more shonen-ish manga, like Naruto and Inuyasha. (If I spelt it wrong, sorry)
I like shojo, but I’ve never tried shounen, so I wouldn’t be able to compare, really.

The ‘Ruff Rider’ was also good … the hind legs were
logistically placed.
