Story Contest

The OWL team is super excited to be involved in the Forest of Reading 2013.

On May 15, I will be hosting the Red Maple Awards Ceremony where the winner is selected by Ontario’s Young Readers… like you!

This year, there are a ton of great books nominated and I can’t wait to see who is awarded the Red Maple for 2013.

In celebration of the Forest of Reading, OWL Magazine is launching a Story Contest!

How do you enter? It’s easy!

Step 1: Write a short story under 500 words. It can be about anything you want!

Step 2: Enter your story online by clicking here. Entries must be received before midnight on June 3.

Step 3: Check out the OWL Blog on June 10 to find out if you’re a winner!

Prizes: Three winners will be chosen and will receive an OWL Magazine and Hilroy prize pack full of amazing reading and writing materials. Plus, the winners’ stories will be published here on the OWL Blog!

So, there’s no time to waste. Get your pencil, pen, or typing fingers ready and write on!
