Sun Smarts: The Movie
Way back in June 2009, OWL published an article called “Sun Smarts.” It was all about, well, the Sun, and lots of related things — sunspots, solar flares… you name it! It was a really fun article to work on because it taught me a lot even I didn’t know. I don’t know about you, but I tend to take our favourite star a little bit for granted!
As you might guess, though, astronomers are far from finished searching for new info about the Sun. I saw on the news last night that NASA researchers have just provided us with the first images of the Sun from both sides at the same time. It’s all thanks to a project called STEREO.
The video was pretty cool, and I thought I’d share it with you. Check out the following YouTube clip:

Cool, huh? I love seeing how the two spacecraft move into place and finding out how long it took them to get into place. The STEREO spacecraft launched in 2006, and we’re just getting these images now. Talk about patience!

Mine is Wii Party. It rocks. I highly recommend it for all ages!
Is it too late to change my answer? I can’t believe I forgot to mention how much I like Rock Band and Guitar Hero! Those games are so much fun to play with friends.
I have Rock Band 2 and play it with my friends all the time.
