More Fun From the Set of Annedroids!
Hi readers,
I’m back with more fun details about the new show, Annedroids! I really enjoyed touring this set, but I also loved sitting down with the cast. Here’s what Addison Holley, Jadiel Dowlin and Adrianna Di Liello had to say!
First, here’s my interview with Jadiel Dowlkin (Nick).
Melissa: Tell me about the character you play on the show.
Jadiel: Nick is just an all-around good guy. He’s cool without being a show-off, and he’s really just adventurous and curious about the world.
Melissa: Do you think your personality is similar to Nick’s?
Jadiel: Yes. In the first episode, Nick moves into a new house and has to make new friends. I’ve had to do the same thing. So, it wasn’t really a stretch for me when I had to play Nick.
Melissa: What do you think most kids will like about the show?
Jadiel: It’s not just about science, there are different things for different people. Shania’s the comic relief, Nick does all kinds of stunts and Anne teaches kids about science. So, there’s balance.
Next up is Adrianna Di Liello (Shania).
Melissa: How long have you been acting?
Adrianna: I’ve been acting for about two years. I’m fairly new but really loving it!
Melissa: I hear that you enjoy singing and dancing on stage. Have you ever gotten stage fright?
Adrianna: I don’t think I’ve gotten stage fright, but have been a bit nervous.
Melissa: How did you overcome your nervousness?
Adrianna: I go over what I need to do, so I’m prepared when I go stage. But, usually just deep breaths help.
Lastly, here’s what Addison Holley (Anne) had to say.
Melissa: What made you get into acting?
Addison: It was actually my dance instructor who said I should go into acting. So I begged my parents for a couple years, and they finally let me do it.
Melissa: What’s the best thing about working on the show?
Addison: I love the way the show teaches kids about science. The writers do it in such a fun way. You’re learning, but you don’t even know it! Also, the entire cast and crew is incredible. It’s just a great show to work on.
Melissa: What do you like to do when you’re not on set?
Addison: I do voice work, so I voice characters on TV shows. I also spend a lot of time at my family cottage with my dogs.
I also asked Addison this question: If you could build a real-life robot, what would it do?
Check out the video below for her answer!
Thanks to the cast of Annedroids for sitting down with me!
