This month, we take you 5,000 years back to ancient Egypt. Get tons of facts and trivia about this ancient civilization. Ever wonder what life would be like if you were a king or queen in ancient Egypt? In Discovery, Hang out with King Tut and find out! For a fun craft, try writing your name in hieroglyphics (that’s the writing system the ancient Egyptians used). Finally, what do you think this is?
Did you guess that it is a mummy… made out of an apple? Then you’d be right! We can’t talk about ancient Egypt without talking about mummies. Learn how the ancient Egyptians made mummies in Dr. Zed — and then make your own apple mummy! Just in time for Halloween.
