Happy Bike Month!
Hi readers!
Did you know that May is National Bike Month? To celebrate, try riding your bike to school or around the block with your family and friends!
Safety is always important when riding a bike. Here’s how to do your very own bicycle safety check:
- Bring your bicycle to a slow roll, and then pump your brakes a few times to make sure they’re working.
- Inspect your helmet making sure it covers half of your forehead, the strap is snug to your chin, and there are no cracks in its surface.
- Give your tires a squeeze. If they’re too soft, ask an adult to pump air into the tires.
Now you’re all set!
