Hug Your Cat Day

Hi readers,

Happy Hug Your Cat Day! I never need an excuse to give my cat a cuddle, but today’s event makes me want to even more.

Here are a few reasons you should give your cat a cuddle:

• It can help cheer you up. Cuddling a furry friend can help lift their spirits, too!
• It can help you feel closer to your pet. Just like when you hug family members or friends, hugging your critter can make your bond even stronger!
• It let’s them know they are loved. You don’t need to speak “cat” to tell your furry pal that you care, just give them a hug!

Answer Your Cat’s Question Day

I think today is the purr-fect day to answer a cat question. Why? Because it’s Answer Your Cat’s Question Day, of course!

Question: “Why does my cat, Tommy, always sit under my chair and sleep there?”

Answer:

Some cats simply like sleeping in places that are out of sight because it makes them feel safe. Another possible reason Tommy relaxes under your chair is to be close to you! Sleeping in this spot may be your feline’s way of saying “Hey, I love you a lot!”
