Craft: Easter Bunny Cards

Hey readers,

Happy Easter! Celebrate by making this fun and easy to make bunny craft. You can also turn it into a card to give as an Easter gift!

You can also find the craft and bunny template here.

You’ll need:

• White cardstock
• Coloured cardstock
• Medium-sized googly eyes
• Pompoms
• Cotton Balls
• Pipe Cleaners
• Glue
• Bunny template

What to do:

1. Print out the bunny template and fold your white cardstock in half.
2. Trace the face template onto the cardstock and cut it out.
3. Trace and cut out the ear templates. Cut them out from the white cardstock for the outer ear and use any colored cardstock for the inner ear.
4. Add glue to the face and the outer ear to glue the cotton balls onto.
5. Glue on the googly eyes and twist the pipe cleaners and glue onto the face.
6. Glue a pom pom on the whiskers to create the nose.
7. Twist a pipe cleaner to shape it into a mouth and then glue it below the nose.
8. Write your Easter message inside!

Chirp Craft: Happy Craft Month!

Hey readers,

Turn simple coffee filters into these beautiful and colourful butterflies to decorate your room with!

You’ll need:

• White coffee filter
• Pipe cleaner
• Markers
• Spoon
• Water

What to do:

1. Flatten the coffee filter and color it with marker.
2. Use a spoon to drip water onto the filter. Let it dry.
3. Fold the filter accordion style and then use. pipe cleaner to tighten it in the middle.
4. Curl the pipe cleaner ends to look like antennae. Spread the wings and let your butterfly sail through the air!

Recipe: Maple Hot Chocolate!

Hey readers,

Hooray today is Maple Syrup Day! Here is a yummy maple-syrup hot chocolate recipe to keep you warm and cozy.

You can find the recipe here as well.

You’ll need:

• 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tbsp to 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 4 cups milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Optional: Marshmallows

What to do:

1. Make sure you have an adult to help you!
2. In a saucepan, whisk together cocoa, salt, water and syrup.
3. Whisk until well-blended.
4. Slowly whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer.
5. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
6. Add in the marshmallows and serve!
