Eclipse Time
Hi, readers,
Did you know that there is going to be a partial solar eclipse this October? On October 23rd, 2014, the Moon will pass between the Earth and Sun and will block the sun’s light from shining on us. This only happens a few times a year!
ECLIPSE TIPS:
- Do not look directly at the eclipse. It will damage your eyes.
- The safest way to view an eclipse is with a pinhole camera. Click here to see how to make one.
- You can look at the eclipse wearing special “eclipse” glasses or welder’s glasses 14 grade or higher.
- You can look at the eclipse through an approved telescope filter.
Visit NASA to see what time the eclipse will be happening where you live!
See you later,
