App Review: Woolizoo’s Ocean Rescue

Hey readers,

Today I have a fun app to share that’s about rescuing ocean animals called Woolizoo’s Ocean Rescue!

In pretty, crochet-art style, you can help turtles escape nets, clean up rubbish in the ocean, help animal parents find their babies, and so much more. There are four areas in the game world to explore. Each time you complete a task to help the islands, you get a gold star!

MarcoPolo Weather is an app that lets you control weather to create rainbows, snowstorms, thunder, clouds and more to see how weather can make the environment change.

You can learn about how to dress your character for different temperatures, as well as how the weather causes changes in things like flowers, birds, and snowmen.

I was just listening to this awesome podcast and I wanted to share it with you.

Wow in the World is a new podcast that is available for free on iTunes. Each Wow in the World episode talks about a cool scientific fact, gadget or discovery. The hosts of the show, Guy and Mindy, take listeners on a journey with songs and stories to help us understand different things about science!

There were a lot of really cool things about this podcast. I enjoyed the funny hosts, the silly songs and the stories told in each podcast episode. From dinosaurs, space, insects and more, Wow in the World is a great podcast if you’re looking for a fun way to learn about science!

App Review: Trip to the Zoo for Kids

Hi, readers,

I just tried out a new app, and I think you might like it! It combines two of my favourite things: animals and puzzles.

Trip to the Zoo for Kids (free on Google Play and iTunes) is about spending a day at the zoo. You’ll have to complete tasks like filling the hippos’ pool with water, building a fence to separate the boars from the bison, and hanging toys for the monkeys to play on.

What I like about this game:

• The puzzles are very creative and all have different answers.
• The art is bright and colourful, and the animals are very cute.
