Get Rolled Up with This Snack for Dad!

Hi Readers,

Today is Father’s Day and it’s also International Picnic Day! To celebrate, how about treating dad to a fun and delicious picnic? Sandwiches are a perfect picnic snack! Try making these sandwich roll-ups for your picnic with dad!

You’ll need:

1. Soft tortilla wraps
2. Sandwich filling (for example, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam, or sliced cheese)
3. Plastic knife

Instructions:

1. Have an adult help you cut the tortilla wraps in half
2. Decide what kind of sandwich filling you want to use. Add the sandwich filling to the tortilla wrap.
3. Roll up the wrap!

Tip: Add vegetables like lettuce and tomato to your sandwich roll-ups!

Celebrate Dad!

This Sunday is Father’s Day and we have a few easy suggestions for how you can celebrate your rad dad!

1. Write an acrostic poem. Use the letters of your father’s name as the first letter of each line. Each line can be something you love about your dad.
2. Draw your pop a picture. Include all of your dad’s favourite things in the drawing.
3. Make up a dance routine. Find out your dad’s favourite song and perform it for him.
4. Set up a nap spot for your dad on the couch. Fluff up the pillows and bring him a blanket. Play quietly somewhere else to give him a few moments to snooze!
