Japanizi Couch Ninja
In the November issue, we interviewed game show host Yoshi from the show Japanizi: Going, Going, Gong! (Airing on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. ET/PT on YTV.) It’s a Japanese-style game show where you’ll see people doing totally wacky and fun stuff like throwing themselves on a Velcro wall, or running on a treadmill while trying to serve fluorescent yellow tea while dressed up in a maid’s costume!
The series also has a cool tablet and mobile app called Japanizi Couch Ninja (currently free in iTunes or Google Play Store) that syncs with the audio of the show by “listening” to the episode. Once the app is synced you have access to fun stuff that’s specifically programmed for that exact moment, like exclusive hidden camera video.
Contest alert! By playing along with Japanizi Couch Ninja you can enter a contest that runs until April 6th. To play along, you need to watch and play by answering quiz questions in the app about your synched episode. The more you play, the more ballots you will earn to enter a draw for a pretty spectacular grand prize that includes $500 in cash, a custom-made ninja outfit, and an impressive trophy for bragging rights.
