Happy Hanukkah!

Hey readers,

Tomorrow marks the first day of Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights!

This Jewish holiday is celebrated over eight days, and each day one candle is lit on a Hanukkah Menorah. The festivities include delicious foods, like potato pancakes called latkes, and fun games, like dreidel, a spinning top with four sides that kids play with during this time of year.

It’s Hanukkah! This Jewish holiday is also called the Festival of Lights and it is celebrated for eight days with special traditions, foods and games. One of the games children play is called dreidel, which is a four-sided top. Each of the four sides of the top has a Hebrew word that means something different. Depending on what side the dreidel lands on will determine if you win or lose.
