Hey readers,
Tomorrow marks the first day of Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights!
This Jewish holiday is celebrated over eight days, and each day one candle is lit on a Hanukkah Menorah. The festivities include delicious foods, like potato pancakes called latkes, and fun games, like dreidel, a spinning top with four sides that kids play with during this time of year.

Happy December 24! It’s a day off from school for most of you and you’ve got lots to look forward to over the holidays.
Me? I’m going to enjoy a winter campfire at a friend’s place during my time off. I’m planning to try out some super delicious campfire recipes that may just get published in a future issue of OWL. For those curious cats out there who are wondering what I’m going to make, I can only give you hint. It involves bananas + chocolate + a campfire. You’ll have to just wait and see the final concoction!
Now, it’s your turn. What’s your favourite winter food or recipe?
Happy holidays to everyone!

P.S. Oh! I forgot to mention, just because I’m on holidays, doesn’t mean I won’t be updating the blog. C’mon, now! Of course I’ll be here! So keep me updated on what you’re up to.
