Book Review: I Can Make That!

chickaDEE Super Squad member, Dylan, 10, recently read I Can Make That!: Fantastic Crafts For Kids by Mary Wallace. He also made one of the crafts from the book. Read on to see what Dylan had to say.

I found that this was a well-written book with easy-to-follow instructions, with many captivating ideas to make. The format of instructions is impeccable. I love how they show you all you need to make the craft in one spot!

 I chose to make Precious Pets (pg. 84-85) in Nature Crafts. It was a very neat idea of how to make a pouch, and I enjoyed painting my “pet” rock.

 Probably my favourite part of the book is how each section is divided by topics, such as: nature, toys, games, etc.

 Overall, I rate this book a 4.2 out of 5. It is a well-written book.

Great review, Dylan! You did a wonderful job with the craft, too. Look for this book in bookstore and your local library.
