Hello and welcome to another exciting week of OWL blogging! As always, I will be your OWL blogger and host. (Applause!) (Applause… please?)

Anyway, it’s a big week here on the blog as we have plans for not one, not two, but THREE movie posts. Yes, you read that right: Hugo, The Muppets, and Arthur Christmas all come out on Wednesday this week, and assistant editor Kendra and I are teaming up to preview them all just for you.

All that said, every week is a big week when I get to post some Reader Art of the Week. This week’s art comes to us from blog reader Kaitlyn. Check it out:

Awesome! I like how Kaitlyn drew this picture manga-style. The eyes are great, and she even drew action lines around “Best” in the title. (FYI: action lines are one of the major stylistic differences between manga and other types of comics. As Alex said in the manga-inspired edition of “Alex and Charlie” in March 2010 OWL, “The action lines make it more intense!”)
