Have you heard of the movie Bambi? This story follows a white-tailed deer as he explores the forest with his family and friends. Speaking of Bambi’s friends, I recently had the opportunity to interview the person who voiced Bambi’s bunny friend, Thumper!
Here’s what Peter Behn (the voice of Thumper) had to say about his part in the movie.
chickaDEE: How did you get the part of Thumper?
Peter: My dad took me to audition for Bambi, but the creators thought my voice sounded more rambunctious, and suited Thumper’s personality more.
chickaDEE: What’s your favourite line from the movie?
Peter: My favourite line of Thumper’s is, “Eating greens is a special treat, is makes long ears and great big feet. But it sure is awful stuff to eat. I made that last part up myself.”
