Paddington Movie Review
By Owen Jacobs, 10
Paddington is a movie about a talking bear that travels to England from Peru in search of a new family. I really liked the special effects in this movie and how Paddington looked like a real bear. They used a combination of CGI and live-action to bring him to life. There was a lot of action and comedy in this movie. The scene in the bathroom where he puts the toothbrushes in his ears and pulls out two big gobs of ear wax was both gross and funny! There was an evil lady but it has a happy ending. The movie was like a fun ride on a roller coaster with a real talking bear that loves marmalade!
Emmet gives Paddington a thumbs up!
Why I liked Paddington a Lot
By Emmett Jacobs, 7
Paddington is a movie about a kind, talking bear that is looking for a new family. He gets taken home to live with the Brown family and gets into lots of funny trouble. One of the things that was funny was when he flooded the bathroom and rode down the stairs in the bath tub. He loves marmalade and always has a sticky sandwich under his hat. I don’t think I like marmalade. There is a mean lady that tries to catch him but he’s saved and everyone is happy in the end. I give it 5/5.
Thanks for reviewing the movie, Owen and Emmett!

The final movie in the Night at the Museum trilogy, Night at the Museum: Secrets of the Tomb, takes Larry the security guard across the ocean to London. Larry and the crew from the Natural History Museum must go on a quest to save the magic before it’s gone forever.

This movie was super-funny and had a lot of action. All the characters we loved from the first two movies, like Teddy Roosevelt and Dexter the Capuchin monkey are back! There are also some new characters, like Sir Lancelot and Tilly, the night guard at the London’s British Museum.
If you liked the first two Night at the Museum movies, then you will love this one, too.
