National Science Reading Day Is Here!

Hey readers,

Did you know that it’s National Science Reading Day AND Science Literary Week today? To celebrate, Owlkids has partnered with Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to present our 7th annual National Science Reading Day contest!

For a chance to WIN one of 5 awesome prize packs, spend part of the day on September 19, 20, or 21 doing some science reading. Then head to our contest page to tell us what you read and share some photos from the day.

There is $2,500 in prizes to be won! We’re giving away 5 classroom prize packs and 5 individual prize packs filled with awesome books and magazines!

National Science Reading Day Winners!

Hey readers,

We love science at Owlkids, which is why we partnered with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to host the National Science Reading Day contest!

To celebrate Science Literacy Week 2019 and take part in the contest, kids and classrooms across Canada spent time reading about all-things science for a chance to WIN. All they had to do was read a science book, whether it was about crazy cool robots or amazing scientific discoveries, and send us photos or lists of the books they read that day.

We want to send a huge thank you to all of the students and teachers who took part in the event! Once again, we’ve selected four classrooms and five students as winners in this year’s contest. Congratulations to the lucky winners below!
