Celebrate the Dark Sky Festival!
Hi readers!
Did you know that Wood Buffalo National Park is Canada’s largest national park? It’s also the World’s Largest Dark Sky Preserve! This means the sky is completely dark over this park at night. Many people visit the park to see a colourful light show in the sky, called the Northern Lights!
This park is located in northeastern Alberta and southern Northwest Territories, but you don’t have to travel far to see it. Watch the video below to see the Northern Lights over Wood Buffalo National Park.
Tomorrow, a four day festival begins to celebrate this cool area. It’s called the Dark Sky Festival! People visit the festival to look at the sky together and celebrate this amazing park. Click here for more information!
Talk to you later, readers!
