I asked Philip a couple of questions about his detailed masterpiece.

OWL: What inspired you to draw this?
Philip: I wanted to sketch a special, good-looking building so I chose the Kirby’s land (from the Kirby video game) version of the Taj Mahal.

OWL: Is there a story behind the character who’s at the front door?
Philip: The character’s name is Prince Fluff (from the Kirby video game). He just finished building the Taj Mahal.

I just received these lovely poems from Danielle, 9.

GREEN
Green to me is prettiness of the trees
grass plants and all of nature and the smell of grass
freshly cut also reminds me of fun times
like rolling down hills

BLUE
I think as blue like the time I went
to Florida with the ocean and pool seashells
and it also reminds me of my camp kettlby
valley camp when I went canoeing

It looks like Chloe’s picture of her cat posted last week inspired others to join in the pet-tastic fun!

Paul sent us this picture of Sadie. She looks none too pleased that he interrupted her OWL blog time.

Later, he caught her completely absorbed in the latest OWL news.

Thanks for introducing us to this super canine, Paul!  We would love to see more of Sadie’s adventures.
