App Review: Scratch Jr
Calling all coders! Have you heard of Scratch Jr? It’s a coding app designed just for kids (FREE on Google Play and iTunes).
With Scratch Jr, you use a simple programming language to animate your own little scenes or movies. The coolest part? This “language” is made of little blocks with easy-to-understand symbols on them. Just drag the building blocks into whatever order you want, and the characters on the screen will follow the “chain” of instructions.
What I like about this app:
- It’s cute and colourful.
- There are tons of different characters and actions for you to use.
- It’s easy to see what you’ve done and make little changes.
- You can use your imagination to create some really funny scenes.
