Hi readers,

Today is Thanksgiving in America. It’s a day for spending time with family and being grateful for what you have.

It’s also a great day for making crafts! Here’s an easy one to do with the people you love.

Toilet-Roll Turkey

You’ll need:

• Red, orange, and yellow construction paper
• Toilet paper roll
• Scissors
• Glue or tape
• Marker

Instructions:

1. Cut the construction paper into feather shapes.
2. Glue or tape the “feathers” to the back of the toilet paper roll so they look like a turkey’s tail.
3. Cut an orange triangle out of the construction paper. Glue or tape it onto the front of the roll to make a beak.
4. Draw on eyes.

Ta-da! Put your new turkey on a table or windowsill where it can watch the Thanksgiving celebration.
