I’m back with more fun details about the new show, Annedroids! I really enjoyed touring this set, but I also loved sitting down with the cast. Here’s what Addison Holley, Jadiel Dowlin and Adrianna Di Liello had to say!
First, here’s my interview with Jadiel Dowlkin (Nick). Melissa: Tell me about the character you play on the show. Jadiel: Nick is just an all-around good guy. He’s cool without being a show-off, and he’s really just adventurous and curious about the world.
Melissa: Do you think your personality is similar to Nick’s? Jadiel: Yes. In the first episode, Nick moves into a new house and has to make new friends. I’ve had to do the same thing. So, it wasn’t really a stretch for me when I had to play Nick.
Melissa: What do you think most kids will like about the show? Jadiel: It’s not just about science, there are different things for different people. Shania’s the comic relief, Nick does all kinds of stunts and Anne teaches kids about science. So, there’s balance.
Next up is Adrianna Di Liello (Shania). Melissa: How long have you been acting? Adrianna: I’ve been acting for about two years. I’m fairly new but really loving it!
Melissa: I hear that you enjoy singing and dancing on stage. Have you ever gotten stage fright? Adrianna: I don’t think I’ve gotten stage fright, but have been a bit nervous.
Melissa: How did you overcome your nervousness? Adrianna: I go over what I need to do, so I’m prepared when I go stage. But, usually just deep breaths help.
Lastly, here’s what Addison Holley (Anne) had to say. Melissa: What made you get into acting? Addison: It was actually my dance instructor who said I should go into acting. So I begged my parents for a couple years, and they finally let me do it.
Melissa: What’s the best thing about working on the show? Addison: I love the way the show teaches kids about science. The writers do it in such a fun way. You’re learning, but you don’t even know it! Also, the entire cast and crew is incredible. It’s just a great show to work on.
Melissa: What do you like to do when you’re not on set? Addison: I do voice work, so I voice characters on TV shows. I also spend a lot of time at my family cottage with my dogs.
I also asked Addison this question: If you could build a real-life robot, what would it do?
Check out the video below for her answer!
Thanks to the cast of Annedroids for sitting down with me!
Now here’s a sneak peek of the show!

Remember to tune into the premier of Annedroids August 25th at 5:30 p.m. ET. on TVO.
Have your heard about the new show, Annedroids? This series follows the adventures of genius scientist, Anne (played by Addison Holley), and her two friends Nick and Shania (played by Jadiel Dowlin and Adrianna Di Liello).
Anne is no ordinary kid. In fact, she’s created three androids on her own! But Anne’s experiments don’t always go as planned. Thankfully, her best-buds, Nick and Shania, are always there to lend Anne a helping-hand.
I was recently invited to tour the set of this show. The coolest part? It was led by the amazing kids who star in it! Scroll down for a behind-the-scenes look at Annedroids!
The tour started at the entrance to the junkyard where Anne, Nick and Shania conduct experiments.

I found the stars of the show on the other side of the gate waiting to lead the tour! From left to right are Jadiel Dowlin (who plays Nick), Addison Holley (who plays Anne) and Adrianna Di Liello (who plays Shania).
Jadiel, Addison and Adrianna give a warm welcome to the set!
The cast stopped to show off this cool merry-go-round. Can you spot Jadiel at the top?

I got a bird’s eye view of this old school bus that was turned into a greenhouse for the show!

This tin trailer was one of my favourite parts of the tour. It looks so fun!

Finally, here’s where Anne comes up with many of her great inventions: her lab! Check out the photos of the robots she’s created on the wall. This makes me want to become an inventor, too!

Speaking of Anne! I had a chance to chat with Addison Holley and the rest of the cast while on set. Stay tuned to the Club chickaDEE Blog to find out what they had to say about working together, how they got into acting and what they like best about being on the series. Plus, I’ll give you a sneak peek of this new show!
