We Walk 4Water

Those of you who’ve seen Spencer West in person know how much of an inspiration he is. And he’s back at it with the We Walk 4Water campaign.

On Monday, May 6, 2013, Spencer will embark on an 11-day, 300-km water walk from Edmonton to Calgary alongside special celebrity guests, local Alberta schools, friends, and family, in solidarity with people who walk hours each day collecting water for their families.

Spencer lost his legs at the age of five. But this hasn’t stopped him from redefining possible. Last year, he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. This year, We Walk4 Water is challenging schools across Canada to raise $25 per student. Students can hold their own fundraising walks, movie nights, and other activities helping to raise money for Free The Children’s Water Initiative.
