It’s International Self-Care Day! The day raises awareness about the importance of taking care of yourself to stay healthy. Check out these easy tips to practice some self love!
- Drink plenty of water. Our bodies need to stay hydrated! Try sipping on a glass of water instead of a juice or soda when you’re feeling thirsty.
- Don’t be afraid to say no. There’s nothing wrong with saying no to things! If you’re feeling tired or need some time to yourself, let others know.
- Practice gratitude. Take some time to write down three things you’re grateful for. Reminding yourself of things you’re thankful for can help spark positivity in yourself!
- Spend time with the people you love. If you’re feeling blue, a great solution is to hang out with your family and friends. Playing board games, going for a walk, or playing in the park are a few ideas! Having fun (and hopefully lots of laughs!) with people you love can help boost your mood .
