My friend always puts himself down. Whenever I compliment him at school or at soccer he just says I’m lying. I want to help him feel better about himself but I don’t know what to do. Any advice? —John, 14

Hmm David I’m thinking you need to tell a parent they can help maybe even tell the teacher parents can be helpful. ?

I have a hard time trying to fix a problem between two of my friends. What should I do?

Ask your mom if it’s ok to invite them over, sit down, and have a long talk. Be sure to let one another explain their emotions fully before you put in yours.
Well john I think you need to talk to him try to find why he’s sad maybe he’s lost his favourite toy or his grandfather got sick or something maybe talking about it will make him feel a bit better. good luck! ?
