hi i’m ava. about the book hooray for heros what is it like being someone in our community? how do paramedics make new medicine to save peoples live? how do firefighters fight fires with just one little hose? how do detectives find clues to solve the mystery? how do police officers help the paramedics firefighters and other service people in the community? your answers would be greatly apprecated thank you ava.
Wow, Ava! It sounds like you enjoyed the May issue of Chirp! I think the best way to get answers would be to get out into your community and talk to some people you think are heroes. Recently I met a crossing guard and he told me he had been helping kids cross the street for 20 years and that he loved every minute of his job. What a hero!
