MOVIE NEWS: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Well, it’s officially blockbuster season at the movie theatres. This coming weekend brings us Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Last weekend it was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
OWL blog reader Sinead saw Caspian opening night and already lists the movie as one of her faves. Wow! I saw it on Monday afternoon (three cheers for long weekends!). Though I didn’t like it as much as the first movie in the series, I still got swept up in the Pevensie siblings’ struggles to save Narnia from an evil king. I can definitely recommend it for fans of the series, but be warned: there is a lot of fighting, flying arrows, swordplay, etc.
Also, one last thing: does any movie out there not have a corresponding online game you can play? Here is one on Mini Clip for Caspian. It’s an archery game, and it’s pretty tough. And, if you’re looking for Indiana Jones stuff, check this out. Or this.
Talk to you on Friday!

I can’t wait for Idiana Jones!
I went camping at Whistler for the long weekend, and I saw Narnia their! I think it’s alot better than the first one because it has a ton of more action scenes. I wonder how good the next movie will be, the Dawn Trader, with it being directed by a new person, the producer of the last two films.
Oh my goodness! I saw the new Narnia movie and thought it was fantastic, but it was a little more violent then the last one. I thought the man who played Prince Caspian was a good actor, and the rest of them were also great. I heard that the next movie, called Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, will be opening around may 2010.
Can’t wait!
I love Indianna Jones!
Tonight is the final for American Idol. It’s on ctv channel nine in canada. I think that David Cook will win, even though David Archuleta seems to be more popular. He will win because of the people who cheered for last week’s other contestent, Syesha Mercado. Mercado is a little like Cook, so the Mercado fans will most likely swing over their votes to Cook, making him the winner. That’s just one theory!
I saw this on opening night too, and it is really well done. The actors are great! movie is definitly my 7th fave!!
I don’t really like Indiana Jones thjat much.

I’m reading Prince Caspian before I see the movie. I did the same with the previous one. I think it’s awsome so far. I hope Cornelius and Trufflehunter are depicted well, if they are in the movie at all. I saw a bit of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Temple of Doom(Indiana Jones). They are awsome.
