Video Game Review: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Some of our OWL readers are Zelda fans. So when The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker came out, we knew some of you would be excited. Reader and gamer Anna definitely was!

“Wow! This game is so awesome. I love everything about it! This game is full of artistic detail and beautiful music. The game is well-built and you’ll know where to go and what to do next. The only reason why The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker didn’t get a 10 for the rating is that it can be very hard at times, like when you first get on the pirate ship and you have to go through some training. In fact, this is one of the hardest games I have ever played, and I’ve played a lot of them. You’ll definitely want to play this because there are so many fun things about this game. Link goes on an adventure to save his sister. Along the way, he gets a sword and a legendary shield that’s been in his family forever. He has to leave his home island to find his sister at the Forbidden Fortress, a dangerous island. He meets lots of new people and animals. Even though it can be difficult, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is one of my favorite games of all time.” 9.5/10
