Visit the TIFF digiPlaySpace!
Hi, readers!
If you’re in the Toronto-area during March Break, I highly recommend the TIFF digiPlaySpace at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. This is the fifth year of the amazing exhibition and it is better than ever. Check out some of the highlights from my visit!
Here I am using Keylight!, a green-screen space that transports you almost anywhere. Here I am “wearing” Big Ben, the famous clock tower in London.
Next, I got to design my own pinball machine game using special paper called Flippaper. It’s a hybrid cat-owl! I was so excited when someone played my game.
Here’s a gallery of Flippaper pinball machine designs! Be sure to add yours to the wall, too.
This is the Augmented Reality Sandbox. I was able to sculpt my own landscape using really cool kinetic sand!
Another highlight at the digiPlaySpace was the Thymio Robot Playground where you can program simple robots yourself.
Don’t forget to visit the Sago Mini area, too. You can build your own mini cardboard house with the Build-A-House Activity and try out their latest app, Trucks and Diggers.
The TIFF digiPlaySpace runs from now on until April 24, 2016. During this week, you can catch Treasures from Dreamworks Animation. You can check out the schedule here.
