Wacky World News
We’ve all heard the legends of monsters like the one from Loch Ness, right? Huge, sea-dwelling creatures that eat boats and what-not? Well, it turns out they might be based — just a little bit — on some sort of fact.
A group of scientists has just discovered the remains of a 150 million-year-old sea monster. The group estimates it was 15 m (50 ft.) long, and weighed up to 45 tons. Even its name, Predator X, is worthy of a comic book.

Wild, huh? I love the computer-generated size comparison of the human, the great white shark, and Predator X. It just goes to show you there’s still so much left to be discovered on this great big planet of ours!
