Weird Zone: The Movie
Hey all. It’s June! That means it’s time to start talking about all the cool stuff in the June issue of OWL. (Yay!)
We’ll definitely get to some World Cup stuff later in the month, but for now I’m dying to show you a video that relates to one of my favourite “Weird Zone” stories in recent memory — it’s called “Bent Building.”
At first glance, the picture of the Crooked House (an aptly named building in Poland) looks like a hoax, or at least some clever Photoshopping. But it’s real!

Cool, huh? But also: strangely unsettling! Looking at that building kind of makes me seasick.
As we said in the article, the building’s design was inspired by the work of three children’s illustrators. Seriously: is there anything children’s illustrators can’t do? I doubt it!
Talk to you soon, blog fans!

Sort of remindes me of Dr.Seus. (did I spell his name right?)
Alex, it’s spelled Suess.
I think the crooked house is really cool.
That is so cool…who’s with me?
It looks like it should be in Disney World. Is the building crooked inside, too? It’s funny how the people just walk by like it’s a normal-looking building.
The crroked house is really cool…….I wonder how they came up with the idea?
@Tia
They’re probably used to it.
I guess ur RIGHT Katie(the author)
Yeah, especially if they live in the area or visit often.
Ya! Poland! I really wanna go there!
but still, it would be weird.
Your Right Alex it does look like Dr.Seuss
Ok! that building totaly needs to be in Mickey’s toontown in Disneyland!
