World Records Day!
Hi readers,
It’s World Records Day! Today is a day when 300,000 people around the world attempt to break world records… and it seems the sillier the record, the better! Here are a few highlights from today’s attempts:
- The largest gathering of people dressed in leprechaun costumes came together in Ireland.
- The world’s largest colouring book was created in Nigeria.
- Switzerland hosted the most people whistling in one place.
- The world’s largest rice cracker was made in Japan!
All of these world records will be submitted to be included in the next Guinness Book of World Records Book. Have you heard of any crazy world records? Leave a comment below!
