Hi Readers!

Over the weekend, 14 year-old Annaleise Carr of Walsh, Ontario became the youngest person ever to swim across Lake Ontario.
Annaleise swam across the lake because she wanted to help Camp Trillium raise funds to send children with cancer to camp.
She told her parents about it and they helped her organize a team to help her prepare for the 52-kilometre swim. That’s really far!
Annaleise completed her swim from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Toronto in 27 hours! She braved the high waves and chilling cold waters with her family and doctor close by.

In the end, Annaleise helped raise $115,000, an amount that could send 115 children with cancer to camp for 10 days.
Way to go!
